Other DC pro sports: Obama leads Romney 271-191
There is another brutal pro sport in Washington, DC. The District is not just your typical pro sports. It is also the center point of one of the most brutal contest around --- Politics. We are a DC pro sports blog and will not put our spin or political bend on this post and all follow up posts. We simply decided to do our own Electoral College Projection, based on the 3 to 6 latest polls in each state. We will update this once per week until the eletction. However, in our actual forum thread where the number are, we update those daily. We will provide here in this article any movement in our numbers. Feel free to join the forum and discuss in our Electoral College Thread. We invite and welcome you to join the disucssion. If you are an actual fan of DC pro sports, even better. Join us!
We are not experts. We are not pollsters. We are not, at least at this stage of our lives, campaign staffers. We enjoy politics, and we enjoy Presidential elections. We call them like we see them. We call them based on latest polling trends. Don't ask for out mathematical forumla, our analytical secret, or our method of computation and decision on switching states around. Why? Because we have none. It's called looking at trends and gut feeling. We have all been political junkies at one point, having all worked in and volunteered in both political parties. These are just our mere projections based on what we see as current polling trends. Clicking over to the link will show you the latest polls for the Toss Up states.
Current Electroal Projection:

Toss Up States: 76
Current Movement:
We have made two Toss Up switches this week. Both states flipped from Toss Up to Lean Obama. We have moved Nevada and Ohio to Lean Obama. Polling in Ohio is showing a widening trend as the state appears to be slipping away from Mitt Romney. The Quinnipiac poll released today is no different. It is affirming a widening gap toward Obama. Today's Ohio poll show Barack Obama with a +10 lead, 53-43. Even more important for the President is a solid 53%, over that 50% threshold. The last two polls in Nevada show an Obama lead of +7 and +9. We moved Nevada to Lean Obama. The other thing we note, Pennsylvania is not a Lean Obama state anymore. It is now a Safe Obama state. Two polls were released today, Quuinnipiac and F & M. F & M poll is done by Terry Madonna, a well respected Pennsylvania pollster. His polling shows a 51-39 lead for Obama while Quinnipiac is consistent with a 53-42 Obamna lead. Both polls show a pretty stable lead for the President in the Keystone State.
An Eye On:
We will be keeping our eye on Florida and Iowa. Both states are starting to show new polling toward the President. Last two Iowa polls show a Obama lead of +7 and +8. In Florida, the Quinnipiac poll this morning shows a +9 lead for Obama. That follows two Florida polls showing Obama leading by +4. Furthermore, in the Quinnipiac poll, the President eclipses 50%.
