On OFFENSE:

campbellj.jpgQB Jason Campbell:  Why?  Because he really didn't do anything wrong.  He completed 23 of 35 for 242 yards.  It isn't Jason Campbell's fault Jim Zorn's play calling sucks.  It isn't Jason Campbell's fault his running backs can't run the ball in the red zone.  It isn't Jason Campbell's fault that Moss fumbled.  It certainly is not Jason Campbell's fault that the 2 second round receivers have not made much of an impact.  Yes, he missed some throws.  All QBs do.  Not all QBs are perfect.  Campbell managed a poorly called offense effectively and helped lead this team to 3 to 4 red zone chances.  There seem to be some almost miscues in snapping the ball today.  There was one bobbled hand off.  But overall, Jason Campbell played fine in a boring, ultra conservative game plan.  Don't lay this one on Campbell, because overall, Campbell played well.

On DEFENSE:

DT Albert Haynesworth:  There was a ton of talk in the off-season that questioned whether Haynesworth, now getting paid the big, fat money deal, would work hard.  He answered that question.  Big Al was one of those that worked the hardest.  Tired?  Sure he was.  He is a big man.  But, when Haynesworth was on the field, the Rams knew it.  Haysneworth only recorded 1 tackle and 2 assists.  But, don't underestimate the disruption he caused when on the field.  He gobbled up and ate running plays.  He swatted down a ball.  He pressured the quarterback.  Haynesworth came to play football today and he was the best defender on the field   You wanna talk about getting paid and disappearing?  How about the poor play and still poor tackling of DeAngelo Hall.  Haynesworth had his critics and he answered them.

On SPECIAL TEAMS:

K Shaun Suisham:  Why?  Ummm, because he is the only Redskin that felt like scoring today.  Without Suisham, the Redskins lose.  He booted all the points.  Chip shots?  Sure.  But, and a big BUT, they were the only points this pathetic offense could muster.
