Eric Fehr to miss 4 weeks for Caps

The Washington Capitals continue to struggle with injuries.  News came today that winger Eric Fehr will likely miss 3 to 4 weeks with a shoulder injury.  Fehr was nailed by fellow teammate David Steckel during the team's 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.  A 3 to 4 week time frame signals a serious shoulder issue. Unfortunately for the Caps, the right shoulder has been a problem in the past for Fehr.  The Caps are in the midst of scoring troubles and losing Fehr for substantial time does not help that cause.

Michal Neuvirth left the three game road trip today to return to Washington for further medical evaluation.  He is listed day to day.  His young counterpart, Semyon Varlamov, is also listed day to day.  Braden Holtby has been recalled to Washington from Hershey (AHL).

Alexander Semin and Tom Poti are still missing and not on the road trip as well.  Safe to say for these two, they will be AWOL for at least the next two road games.
