The Washington Capitals have now signed both first round draft picks.  A week after the 11th overall pick, Filip Forsberg, agreed to a three year entry deal, 16th overall pick, Tom Wilson, agreed to a three year entry deal.  The deal is worth $832,500 for the NHL appearance and $70,000 fir AHL appearance.

The 6'4", 205 pound forward is a dose of what the Washington Capitals need, grit and toughness.  Wilson showed in development camp that he is not afraid to mix things up and use his big frame to his advantage.   Although Wilson inked his three year entry deal, he will not turn pro yet.  He will play this coming season in the OHL with the Plymouth Whalers.  Wilson has played for the Whalers the last two seasons.
