Caps buyout Tyler Sloan, no offer to Matt Bradley

The Washington Capitals placed D Tyler Sloan on waivers a few days ago.  Sloan passed through waivers and became eligible to have his final year of his contract bought out.  The Capitals did that today, making Sloan an unrestricted free agent.  Good luck to Tyler wherever he ends up.

Meanwhile, another unsigned Capital free agent is Matt Bradley.  The gritty Bradley is an unrestricted free agent.  According to his agent, Bradley has not been extended any offer from the Capitals and he does not anticipate any offer to be made.

With the contract buyout of Sloan, according to Cap Geek, the Capitals have two remaining restricted free agents:  Karl Alzner and Troy Bouwer.

According to Alzner's agent, via @SWhyno on Twitter, there still 'is a gap to close' before a deal canbe reached.
