Caps go Russian again, select Galiev

The Washington Capitals continue to add Russian flavor to the Capitals organization, selected RW STANISLAV GALIEV in the second round of the NHL Draft.  Yesterday, the Caps selected Russian C Evgeny Kuznetsov with the 26th overall pick.

Galiev played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last year.  In 2009/10 he played for the Saint John Sea Dogs and scored 15 goals and added 45 assists in 67 games.   His 45 assists was 9th overall in the QMJHL.
