Caps take goalie in 3rd round
The Washington Capitals traded their 5th round pick to move up and select G Philipp Grubauer. Grubauer played last season in Windsor Spitfires last season. In 19 OHL games last season, Grubauer was 13-1-2 with a 2.37 GAA. He posted a .906 save percentage.
His record with that club was 13-1-1-1. He helped lead the Spitfires in the 2010 playoffs and to the OHL finals. He also Germany to winning Pool B of the WJC, and attaining promotion for the 2011 WJC.
