Varlamov named Top NHL Star of the week

Congratulations to Washington Capitals red hot goal tender, Semyon Varlamov.
Varly was given the First Star of the week by the National Hockey League.
If it is not enough that Varly got the nod for the Winter Classic in Pittsburgh, his stats over his last 4 starts would seemingly indicate that as of right now, Varly is the number one netminder in the District.
Further, Michal Neuvirth was hurt today in practice. He received a stick that got up through the mask and needed stitches. HC Bruce Boudreau confirmed the injury and said he would be OK.
