02. Detroit Red Wings [35-16-2]: Joe Louis Arena has been a fortress this season. The Wings are 20-2-1 at home this season, and have not dropped a point there since November 3. (+4)

03. St Louis Blues [30-14-7]: It's incredible to think that had the Blues managed to pull out another overtime win or two, they could well be at the top of this power poll. (+2)

04. Vancouver Canucks [32-15-5]: The Vancouver Canucks are 24-6-4 since their 8-9-1 start, and are back at the top of the NHL, where they belong... (-)

05. Boston Bruins [32-16-2]: The Bruins are surprisingly 4-5-1 in their last 10, and are beginning to lose their grip on the top spots. (-3)

06. San Jose Sharks [29-15-6]: The Sharks are not playing their best hockey, but are nevertheless hanging around at the top. (-)

07. Philadelphia Flyers [30-15-6]: The Flyers have a 12-8-4 record at the Wells Fargo Center. Improvement at home could be the key to success for the Flyers.(-)

08. Nashville Predators [32-17-4]: The Preds are 8-2-0 in their last 10, and are surging up the NHL standings. (+1)

09. Pittsburgh Penguins [30-18-4]: Everyone expected the Penguins to collapse without Sidney Crosby, but points-leader Evgeny Malkin is leading their resurgence. The Penguins are now 9-1-0 in their last 10. (+8)

10. Chicago Blackhawks [29-17-7]: Only four teams have given up more goals than the Blackhawks, who with 158 goals against have been more than leaky. (-2)
