Washington Capitals Sign Wojtek Wolski

The Washington Capitals have signed LW Wojtek Wolski to a one-year, $600,000 contract.
Wolski, a 26-year-old Pole who grew up in Toronto, split last season between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers, totaling four goals and eight assists in 33 games.
Known as somewhat of an enigma in NHL-circles, Wolski is a highly-skilled, 6'3" winger who has topped 17 goals and 47 points three times. He figures to become part of a scrapbook top-six for the Caps, perhaps playing alongside Mike Ribeiro on Adam Oates' second-line.
At $600,000, Wolski is a bargain, especially considering how high the Zabrze-born forward's ceiling could be.
