Adam Oates to co-coach Hershey
New Washington Capitals head coach Adam Oates will be co-coaching the Caps AHL affiliate Hershey Bears along side coach Mark French. Oates will gain some valuable coaching experience during the lockout. Oates does not have NHL head coaching experience.
During the lockout, Oates will be able to gain valuable insight into the Caps farm team. Good move by the Caps.
