Corey Brown to start tonight in CF

A lot of our readers are high on Corey Brown. Good for you. He will make his season debut tonight in CF.

Brown has a nice following among Nationals and for good reason. He is a quality outfield prospect. A little background on Brown, he was acquired in a December 16, 2010 trade of Josh Willingham. Reliever Henry Rodriguez was also acquired in that trade.

Browns was recalled over the weekend as the Nats placed pinch hitter Chad Tracy on the disabled list with a groin injury. In 48 games with AAA Syracuse this season, Brown batted .297 and leads the Nationals minor league system with 12 home runs. He also produced 9 doubles and a system leading 4 triples. He scored 41 runs and drove in 30 runs.
