Mike Morse activated from DL for Nats

The long awaited return of a power hitter has arrived for the Washington Nationals.  The Nats have formally activated Mike Morse from the disabled list and optioned OF Corey Brown to Syracuse.

Morse got hurt in spring training and has not played a game this season.  His return is welcome news to the Nats , who have since lost Wilson Ramos for the season and Jayson Werth for twelve weeks. Morse is a huge missing power hitter that will be a welcome addition in the middle of the Nationals lineup, joining Ryan Zimmerman and Adam LaRoche.

Morse had a huge year 2011, batting .303 with 31 homers and 95 runs drive in.  Despite the Nats sitting atop the National League East, they are missing his presence in the middle of the lineup.
