DC Pro Sports Report continues to track the stats and progress of the 2010 Nationals draft class, scattered between Hagerstown, Vermont, and the rookie Gulf Coast league.  Here are the latest stats for the 2010 Draft Class.

Rick Hague (3^rd rd)  Was assigned to GCL and played in 10 games.  He was promoted to Hagerstown and has played in 4 games.  Combined, Hague is hitting .296 with 9 runs and 9 RBI.  In 4 games at Hagerstown, Hague is hitting .356.  Hague is being watched closely as the Nats third round pick.  We can not rate him a 5 Star based on performance yet, until he plays additional games and racks up more at bats. 

SS Jason Martinson (5^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Martinson has played in 35 games and is 34 for 133 (.256).  he has 5 doubles and 4 triples, show casing his speed.  He ha sscored 17 runs and drive in 16.  In 35 games, he has 10 fielding errors.

C Cole Leonida (6^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  He has played in 19 games and is struggling at the plate going 9 for 65 (.138) with 8 runs scored and just 1 RBI yet.  He has 1 fielding error.

OF Kevin Keyes (7^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  In 12 games, Keyes is 7 for 40 (.175).  He has scored 2 runs and driven in 6 runs.

Aaron Barrett (9^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  He has appeared in 5 games and is 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA.  Barrett has pitched exclusively out of Vermont’s bullpen.  In 8.2 innings, he has allowed 6 earned runs and recorded 11 strike outs.   

SS Blake Kelso (10^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Kelso is off to a fine start for the Lakes Monsters, playing in 28 games and is 33 for 105 (.314) with 4 doubles.  Kelso has scored  10 runs and driven in 12.  He also has 5 stolen bases.  Defensively, in 28 games, Kelso has 4 fielding errors.  At this point, Kelso is worthy of our 5 Star rating.    * * * * *

P Neil Holland (11^th rd) is assigned to Vermont and has pitched exclusively out of the bullpen. In 10 games, Holland is 2-0 with 2 saves and an ERA of 1.80.  In 15 innings, he has allowed 3 earned runs, given up 14 hits and 4 walks with 15 strike outs.  He has a WHIP of 1.20.  * * * *

P Christopher McKenzie (13^th rd) is assigned to Vermont has thrown in 7 games and has made 5 starts.  He is 1-1 with a 8.87 ERA allowing 22 runs over 22.1 innings.  In 22.1 innings, McKenzie has been battered for 25 hits and 11 walks.  He has a WHIP of 1.97. 

DH David Frietas (15^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Frietas is the hottest hitter in the 2010 draft class.  In 31 games, Frietas is 41 for 109 (.376).  He has 11 doubles and 2 home runs.  Frietas has scored 18 runs and driven in 20 runs.  He has an on base percentage of .465 and a slugging percentage of .532.  Overall, Frietas is 2^nd in the NY Penn league in doubles and batting average.  He is 9^th in RBI and 8^th in Slugging.  Frietas is worthy of our 5 Star rating.   * * * * *

P Mark Herrera (16^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  He has appeared in 8 games out of the Lakes Monsters bullpen and is 2-1.  He started out on fire but has gotten touched up.  He has a 3.71 ERA and has allowed 7 runs over 17 innings.  He has allowed 16 hits and 6 walks with 14 strike outs.  He has a WHIP of 1.29.    

Tyler Hanks (17^th rd) is assigned to GCL.  He has appeared in 6 games, including 3 starts.  He is 3-0 with a 1.61 ERA.  In 22.1 innings, he has allowed 4 earned runs.  He has allowed 19 hits and 3 walk while recording 16 strike outs.  He has a WHIP of 0.99.  Hanks has earned a 5 Star.  * * * * *  

2B Justin Miller (18^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  He has appeared in 30 games and is 24 for 89 (.270).   He has 7 doubles, 2 triples, and a home run.  Miller has scored 22 runs and driven in 14 runs.  His 22 runs scored are 7th overall in the NY Penn League.  Miller has 5 fielding errors.  * * *

OF Wade Moore (19^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Moore has been in 36 games and is 27 for 116 (.233) with 1 double, 2 triples and 1 home run.  He has scored 19 runs and driven in 11 runs.  He has 2 fielding errors.

OF Chad Mozingo (20^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  In 31 games, he is 28 for 121 (.231) with 3 doubles and 2 triples.  He has scored 19 runs and driven in 9 RBI. He has no fielding errors. 

Connor Rowe (21^st rd) is assigned to Vermont.  In 11 games, he is 7 for 35 (.200) with 2 doubles and 2 home runs.  He has scored 5 runs and driven in 7.

Cameron Selik (22^nd rd) is assigned to Vermont.  He has appeared in 9 games exclusively out of the Vermont bullpen.  In 12.1 innings, he has allowed 6 runs for a 4.38 ERA.  He has allowed 13 hits and a very high 11 walks.  He has 12 strike outs. 

P Colin Bates (23^rd rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Bates has appeared in 8 games, including 2 starts and is 2-1 with 2 saves.  Over 23 innings, Bates has allowed 9 runs for an ERA of 3.52.  He has allowed 22 hits, 4 walks, and recorded 20 strike outs.  He has a WHIP of 1.13.  Bates is worthy of a 3 start rank.  * * *

OF Russell Moldenhaur  (24^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Moldenhaur has played in 13 games and is 9 for 45 (.244).  Of his 9 hits, 5 are home runs and he has 1 double.  He has 9 runs scored and 16 RBI. 

Christian Meza (25^th rd) is assigned to GCL and has appeared in 5 games including 1 start.  He is 1-1 with a 1.42 ERA.  In 12.2 innings, he has allowed 4 hits and 6 walks while striking out 12.  He has a WHIP of 0.79.  We will keep en eye on Meza. 

Chris Manno (26^th rd) is assigned to GCL. In 5 games, Manno has pitched 7.1 innings and yielded 2 runs.  He has allowed 3 hits and 4 walks with 14 strike outs.  He has an ERA of 2.45.   

Rick Hughes (29^th rd) is assigned to GCL.  Hughes has played in 8 games and is 8 for 31 (.258).  he has 2 doubles and a triple and has scored 5 runs and knocked in 2 runs. 

Jeremy Mayo (31^st rd) is assigned to GCL. He had played in 25 games and is 20 for 70 (.286).  He has 6 doubles, a triple, and 3 home runs.  He has scored 15 runs and drive in 11 runs.  He has a slugging percentage of .529.  He has earned a 4 Star.  * * * *

Randolph Oduber (32^nd rd) is assigned to GCL.  If there is a guy in GCL as hot as David Frietas is in Vermont, here he is.  In 17 games, Oduber is 26 for 71 (.366) with 3 doubles, 3 triples, and 3 home runs.  He has scored 17 runs and drive in 16.  he has a slugging percentage of .620.  Do I smell Vermont on the way?  He has earned a 5 Star.  * * * * *

Ryan Sherrif (33^rd rd) is signed, but has not played yet.

Tyler Oliver (35^th rd) is assigned to GCL.  He has played in 20 games and is 14 for 58 (.241).  He has 2 doubles and a home run.  He has scored 6 runs and driven in 11 runs.  He has no fielding errors. 

Wander Nunez (36^th rd) is assigned to GCL and has played in 21 games.  He is 17 for 65 (..269) with 1 double and 4 triples.  He has scored 11 runs and knocked in 8 runs.  He has no fielding errors. 

Nicholas Sereino (37^th rd) is assigned to GCL and has appeared exclusively in the bullpen.  In 9 games, he is 1-2 with a 3.14 ERA, allowing 5 runs over 14.1 innings. He has given up 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 14 batters.  His WHIP is 1.05.

Kevin Cahill (41^st rd) is assigned to Vermont.  He has appeared in 6 games of relief and has allowed 3 runs over 10 innings for an ERA of 2.70.  He has yielded 8 hits and 3 walks while recording 11 strikeouts. 

Rashad Hatcher (49^th rd) is assigned to GCL.  He has played in 15 games and is 3 for 23 (.130) with 2 RBI.  All three hits are doubles
