Nats Minor Report: Adrian Sanchez hitting .391

Short Minor League report today.  Most Washington Nationals minor league system teams were off.  The only two that played were the two lower level affiliates. 

Vermont Lake Monster won 3-0 behind 4 shutout innings from 2010 draftee Chris Bates.  Bates allowed 3 hits and struck out 2.  Steve McCatty, son of Nats pitching coach, picked up the win and improved to 2-0.  he allowed 1 run and 4 hits over 4 innings.   Carlos Moldenhauer was 1-4 with 2 RBIs.  2010 draftee David Frietas continues ripping the ball, going 2-4 with a double.  He is hitting .381.  Ronnie Labrie was 2 for 3. 

Gulf Coast Nats won 9-5.  K. Lopez (2-0) pitched 5 innings and allowed 1 hit and 0 earned runs to earn the win.  Adrian Sanchez remains the hot bat going 2 for 5 with a triple, a run scored and an RBI.  He is hitting .391.  Mills Rogers scored twice and drive in a run.  Dereck Phillips went 2 for 3 with 2 runs and an RBI.  Roberto Perez was 2-3 with a double and 2 RBis.  He is hitting .343.
