The Syracuse Chiefs (AAA) were off last night,.  They stand at 15-11 1 game out of first in the International League. 

Harrisburg Senators (AA) - 10-16, last place, 8.5 games back

Lost 7-1 last night.  Aaron Thompson (1-3) was pounded for 13 hits and 7 runs in 4.2 innings.  He has a 4.67 ERA in Harrisburg.  He is 2-3 with a 4.22 ERA combined between AA and AAA.   Jesus Valdez went 2-4 with a double, triple, and and RBI.  He is hitting .297.

Potomac Nationals (A) 12-14, 3 games back

Potomac shutout Myrtle Beach last night 8-0.  Marcos Frias pitched 6 shutout innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out 5.  On the season, he is 1-1 with a 4.63 ERA.  Steve Lombardozzi has the hot bat for the Nats, going 3-5 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.  Over the last 10 games, Lombradozzi is hitting .409 with 7 doubles.  Tyler Moor (4) and Tim Pahuta (8) each homered and went 2 for 4.  Pahuta leads the Nationals minor league system in home runs. 

Hagerstown Suns (A) 15-11, 1.5 games back

The Suns fell to Rome 7-1.  Daniel Rosenbaum was roughed up for the first time, allowing 7 hist and 4 earned runs over 4.1 innings.  Jose Leon was 2 for 2.
