Tom Milone (10-5) threw 6.2 innings, allowed 1 run, scattered 7 hits, and struck out a whopping 13 batters. Jesus Valdez was 2 for 5 and smacked his 8th home run. Chris Marrero had a live bat, going 4 for 5, hitting his 15th home run, and driving in 4 runs. He is hitting .287. Devin Ivany went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Tim Pahuta hit his 9th AA home run, 19th overall.
Potomac Nationals (A) won 9-1. Trevor Holder (2-2) pitched 5.2 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run and struck out 5. Newly promoted reliever Rob Wort threw a scoreless inning and struck out the side.
