Nats getting draft picks signed

The Washington Nationals are having success in getting draft picks selected over the last three days signed and delivered.  So far, they have inked their second round and fourth round pick and appear close to signing their third round pick.  Second Rounder Tony Renda and fourth rounder Brandon Miller are both signed.  According to numerous report, third round pick P Brett Mooneyham is nearing a deal and should sign quickly. Earlier yesterday, the Nats quickly signed fifth round pick out of Clemson, C Spencer Keiboom.  Keiboom batted .250 at Clemson this season, but was highly regarded and considered by most MLB Draft analysts to be one of the top defensive catchers in the Draft.  That makes three of the Nationals top 5 picks under contract already.

The big deal of the draft was the 16th overall pick Lucas Giolito.  He will take time to sign.
