Syracuse Chiefs (AAA) won 36-2 behind a strong pitching performance by Shairon Martis. Martis went 6 innings, allowed 4 hits and 1 run. He struck out 6. Harrisburg Senators (AA) lost 3-0, despite a top notch pitching start by Tom Milone (5-2). Milone went 7 innings, allowed 1 run and struck out 8 batters. Milone lowered his ERA to 3.18. Chris Marrero went 2 for 4 and has hit .349 over his last ten games.
Potomac Nationals (A) lost 9-4 and managed only 4 hits. Adrian Alaniz was hammered for 9 hits and 7 runs in 4 innings. Steve Lombardozzi was 1 for 4 with a triple. He is hitting .361 over his last 10 games. Tyler Moore hit his 8th homer and drove in 3 runs.
