Harper will be the first pick by Nats
Let there be little doubt. The Washington Nationals have made their decision on who they will select as the first overall pick in the 2010 MLB Draft that takes place today. And it is far from surprising.
The Nationals will indeed take C Bryce Harper as the first overall pick. Harper is a catcher, but is expected to be converted to an outfielder by the Nationals. Harper is every bit a phenom as the Nats 2009 first rounder Stephen Strasburg. Starsburg is set to make his MLB debut on Tuesday against the Pirates. Again, there is no doubt who the Nats will take.
