The MLB Mock Draft Database has been updated and now includes 37 different mock drafts for the MLB Draft to be held on June 4, 2012.  Keep checking back.  As we enter May, we are getting more and more mocks updating on a more consistent basis.  The traffic in the MLB Mock Draft Database is picking up nicely.

Just as we have always done for the Original NFL Mock Draft Database, we munched together the most updated mock drafts, ones updated between 4/11/12 and 5/3/12, a total of 15 mock drafts.  The mock munch allows you to see what the majority of the updated mocks are projecting for the the Top 5 positions.  THIS WEEKEND, the MLB Mock Database will be expanding to the TOP 8 Picks!

To follow the mock drafts, bookmark the MLB Mock Draft Database page. You can also follow Mock Draft Database on Twitter and Facebook.

Trends:  Stanford Pitcher Mark Appel was a dominating first overall pick for months.  That is changing.  Appel still leads at the top spot, but more updated mocks are starting to look at catcher Mike Zunino and OF Byron Buxton.  We will keep an eye on that trend.  As for the Washington Nationals, they pick at the 16th slot and there is absolutely no consensus on that pick.  As we get more mocks, we will be able to give leaders.
