Ryan Zimmerman Rejoins Nationals From DL
As expected, the Nationals have reactivated Ryan Zimmerman from the disabled list, after the third baseman missed 15 games with a shoulder injury.
Zimmerman's stint on the DL prompted the Naionals to call up outfielder Bryce Harper, but sending the 19 year old back to the minors is no longer an option.
Instead, the Nationals cleared space on their active roster by placing Jayson Werth on the disabled list. Werth is expected to miss at least 12 weeks with a broken wrist.
