Syracuse Chiefs (AAA) lost 3-2. Matt Chico (1-2) pitched 5 innings, allowed 8 hits and 3 runs. Boomer Whiting continues to swing a hit bat, going 2-4. Since his promotion to AAA, Whiting is hitting .351. Devin Ivany was 2 for 4.
Harrisburg Senators (AA) were rain postponed.
Potomac Nationals (A) lost 4-2. Ross Detwiler made his first rehabilitation start and pitched 3 scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits. Patrick Lehman (3-2) relieved Detwiler and took the loss, pitching 5 innings and allowing 5 hits and 4 runs. Chris Curren went 2 for 4 with a run scored. Dan Lyons also went 2 for 4. Robert Jacobsen knocked in 2 runs.
Hagerstown Suns (A) did not play.
