Get the medical facts on Stephen Strasburg & Tommy John surgery
If you watched NewsTalk with Bruce DePuyt on News Channel 8 today you saw Dr. Scott Edwards, a surgeon at the Georgetown University Medical Center, talking about the Washington Nationals insistence that pitcher Stephen Strasburg be shut down when he reaches 160 innings, to avoid damaging his surgically-repaired throwing arm. It was a fascinating discussion and I thought I'd share it with any in our audience who missed the broadcast. Check it out.
Also, don't forget to vote in our poll about whether or not Stephen Strasburg should be shut down for the season. It's in the upper left hand side of this page.
