SS Blake Kelso (10^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Kelso is off to a fine start for the Lakes Monsters, playing in 37 games and is batting .317.  He has 7 doubles and 1 triple.  Kelso has scored 17 runs while driving in 18.  He has 6 fielding errors.   Right now, Kelso is outshining Jason Martinson, who was taken 5 rounds above him.   

P Neil Holland (11^th rd) is assigned to Vermont and is in the bullpen.  He has appeared in 12 games and is 2-0 with 2 saves.  Holland has posted a 1.77 ERA.  In 20.1 innings, he has allowed 4 runs.  He has a nice walk/strikeout ratio, with 5 walks and 23 strikeouts.  He has allowed 7 hits and recorded 10 strikeouts while allowing 1 walk. He has a WHIP of 1.03.

DH David Frietas (15^th rd) is assigned to Vermont.  Frietas is the hottest hitter in the 2010 draft class.  In 41 games, Frietas is batting .340.  He also has 14 doubles and 4 home runs.  His 14 doubles is third in the NY Penn league.  Frietas has scored 25 runs and drive in 30 runs.  He is 7^th overall in RBI.  He has a .517 slugging percentage.

Tyler Hanks (17^th rd) is assigned to GCL.  He has appeared in 7 games, including 3 starts.  He is 4-0 with a 1.78 ERA.  In 25.1 innings, he has allowed 5 earned runs.  He has allowed 4 walks to 17 strikeouts.  He has a WHIP of 1.03. Solid season fro hanks so far, possible promotion to Vermont coming soon?. 

Christian Meza (25^th rd) is assigned to GCL and has appeared in 7 games with 1 start.  He is 1-1 with an ERA of 1.02.  In 17.1 innings, he has allowed just 2 earned runs.  He has issued 6 walks and struck out 17 batters.  His WHIP is an impressive 0.68.
