Strasburg named NL Player of the Week

Rookie phenom Stephen Strasburg has only made two starts. He has only been in the major leagues for one week. But his impression is already huge.

Not only did he jumble TV coverage, not only did he double attendance, both at home and on the road. Stephen Strasburg in just one week has also been named the National League's Player of the Week.

Strasburg in two games is 2-0 with 6 hits allowed, 5 walks, just 2 runs in 12.2 innings. Oh, we almost forgot, he also has struck out 22 batters in those two games.

On behalf of our readers, we say CONGRATULATIONS Stephen Strasburg!
