Dodgers And Nats Rained Out
The Los Angeles Dodgers are in town, but they have the night off. Today's intense storms have forced cancellation of tonight's game. The teams will make it up as part of a doubleheader tomorrow. Josh Beckett takes the hill for LA in the opener, with John Lannan going for the Nats. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm. Approximately thirty minutes after the completion of the opener, the two clubs will go at it again. Today's scheduled pitchers, Aaron Harang for LA and the Nats Jordan Zimmermann are expected to go in the nightcap. The Nationals lead the National League east by five games over the Atlanta Braves. The Nats have 16 games remaining in the regular season.
