Nats Spring Update after 2 games

The Washington Nationals are 0-1-1 in their first two spring training games.  They tied in 10 innings today with Miami, 2-2.  Drew Storen blew a save and allowed 2 hits and 1 run in 1 inning of work, to blow the 2-1 Nats lead in the ninth inning.  Both of Washington's 2 RBI today came from a 2 run home run by the 6th overall draft pick of the 2011 MLB Draft, Anthony Rendon.  Jordan Zimmermann made his Grapefruit start, tossing 3 innings and allowing 2 hits and 1 run.   Bryce Harper was a perfect 2 for 2 at the plate today. 

Here are the early stats through 2 games for your starters. 

OF Denard Span:  1 for 4 (.250)

OF Bryce Harper:  3 for 5 (.600)

SS Ian Desmond:  1 for 3 (.333) with a run scored

2B Danny Espinosa:  0-1 (.000)

C Kurt Suzuki:  1-1 (1.000)

The Nats face the Mets again tomorrow evening at 6:10PM.
