Santana Moss linked to alleged HGH doctor
The name of Santana Moss has emerged in the HGH case swirling around the Redskins.
, is denying all the charges [drug smuggling, conspiracy, lying to federal agents, unlawful distribution of human growth hormone and introducing an unapproved drug into interstate commerce] against him and his lawyers are saying the athletes he has treated, which include Alex Rodriguez and Tiger Woods, received medical assistance with injuries and the only HGH provided to them was tiny amounts to aid in healing. Moss is refusing to comment and I don't see how he can be suspended by the NFL if he's never tested positive for anything [the NFL does not test for HGH]. Technically, the league is allowed to punish Moss without a positive test, but if he denies it and there is no evidence of him ever actually taking HGH from Dr Galea, I think punishing him would be problematic and provoke an immediate appeal. However, this isn't going away and sooner or later Moss will have to address this issue. He's going to have to bite the bullet, talk to the media and explain himself.
