Report: Haynesworth not being traded
Adam Schefter at ESPN quotes a high-ranking team source that the Redskins are not trying to trade DT Albert Hayesworth and they expect him to be on the roster in 2010. This seems logical since trading Haynesworth would open a major hole in the defensive line and the Redskins just gave him a $21 million roster bonus last Thursday. Washington has already paid Haynesworth $32 million of the $41 million he is guaranteed under the contract he signed last year and re-negotiated this year. I know Dan Snyder can be free with his money, but forking over $41 million for one year of work is a bit much even for The Li'l General.
