Madieu Williams and DeJon Gomes, both starting safeties for the Redskins against the Saints last weekend, were fined by the NFL for illegal hits that drew personal foul penalties in the game. Williams is $21,000 lighter for a helmet-to-helmet hit on TE Jimmy Graham while Gomes lost $7875 for a late hit on TB Darren Sproles. No suspensions were handed out and the Redskins won the game 40-32.

Washington faces the St. Louis Rams Sunday afternoon.
