The Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with 4th round draft choice, LB Perry Riley.

Riley started two season at LSU compiling 185 tackles, including 13 tackles for loss and 2 sacks during his 47-game career. Riley also intercepted 2 passes, broke up 8 others, and recovered 2 fumbles.  Riley was named Defensive MVP of the 2008 Chick-fil-A Bowl.

Riley will play inside linebacker in the Redskins' 3-4 defensive system.

Riley was the Washington’s 4th round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft.  Essentially, he was their second pick, Redskins did not have a third or fourth round pick.  With Riley’s signing, first round pick OT Trent Williams remains the only Redskins 2010 draft pick to be unsigned.  Given he was the 4th pick overall, that is completely expected.
