How many games will the Redskins win in 2012? Take the poll!

We have a new poll up here at DC Pro Sports Report. We're asking you, the readers, how many games the Redskins will win in 2012 and whether or not the team will make the playoffs. The poll is on the upper right hand side of this page so just move your eyes there and click on your answer.

Washington has won only 11 games out of 32 in Head Coach Mike Shanahan's first two seasons at the helm and improvements are expected now. However, the team has a rookie quarterback and that usually means lots of losses. Even the Carolina Panthers won only 6 games last year despite an historic and record-shattering rookie campaign from Cam Newton. Is it fair to expect Robert Griffin III to lead his team to respectability in his first NFL campaign? Fair or not, it's what many, if not most, Redskins fans expect. Demand, even.

I think the Redskins have greatly improved their receiving corps and the front seven of the defense should be one of the top units in the NFL. However, the secondary is suspect, the offensive line is still a mess and with the constant [but necessary] overhaul of the roster these past two years, there is very little continuity among players. And, as I mentioned above, the quarterback is a rookie.

So, tell us: How many games will the Redskins win in 2012?

Then shoot on over to our Redskins fan forum and explain your vote. That's what I'm doing. Please join in the discussion.
