Bruce Allen is mending the Redskins

Mike Wise writes today of how Redskins GM Bruce Allen is trying to heal the wounds that have opened up between the team and some of its greatest former players. Brian Mitchell, the greatest special teams player in the history of the franchise, has been very critical [correctly so, in my opinion] of the way the Redskins have been run and of TB Clinton Portis in particular. With Portis' pal Dan Snyder owning the team and unconcerned with Mitchell's complaints, it seemed Mitchell's alienation from the team was complete.
