Clinton Portis & Lavar Arrington are not friends

Redskins running back Clinton Portis and former Redskins linebacker Lavar Arrington do not like each other. You know that. Portis attacked Arrington some time ago, saying Arrington walked away from the Redskins [and a lot of money] because he couldn't stand not being the star of the show every week. Arrington fired back, saying Portis acts silly with his costumes and characters during press conferences, demonstrating a lack of respect for the game and the African-American players who came before him.

Now, Portis has decided to pretty much go nuclear on Lavar, telling 106.7 WJFK radio that Arrington had no right to speak at the funeral of Sean Taylor, the great Redskins defensive back who was tragically murdered during the 2007 season. Arrington gave a moving speech at the funeral, but Portis -- a close friend of Taylor and a fellow University of Miami alum -- says Taylor did not like Arrington and that Lavar was just looking for publicity by speaking.
