Marko Mitchell released by Lions

We only make this a front page story because of a rather 'odd' fascination among Redskins Nation for 2009 seventh rounder WR Marko Mitchell.  Some in the Redskins fan base were upset with the release of Mitchell, despite the fact that Mitchell is not and has not been a strong special teams contributor, making it extremely difficult to justify a 5th wide receiver slot.

Detroit must have felt the same way about Mitchell.  He has been released.    So let's start the shouting about resigning Mitchell.  SHOUT IT HERE!
