Redskins trade for DL Adam Carriker
The Redskins acquired DL Adam Carriker, the 13th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, from the St. Louis Rams in exchange for swapping picks in the 5h round. The Redskins moved down from the 135th pick to 163rd pick in the draft and in return they get a young defensive lineman who missed all of 2009 with a torn shoulder muscle. Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett held the same position with the Rams when St. Louis selected Carriker out of Nebraska.
