Okung, Bradford to visit Redskins
The Redskins have scheduled visits with QB Sam Bradford and LT Russell Okung, both widely acknowledged as the best player at their position in this draft. Okung will visit next week Bradford will tour Redskins Park next week before a private workout for the Skins in Norman, Oklahoma in two weeks. Head Coach Mike Shanahan will also watch Jimmy Clausen throw on April 15.
The Okung visit pleases me in particular. What a novel idea -- getting a look at the best player in the draft who fills your greatest position of need.
