The Redskins traded QB Jason Campbell to the Oakland Raiders for a 4th round draft pick in the 2012 draft. That's right -- no pick in this draft or the next one. It's the one after that. Why not the 2016 draft?

"I talked to [Raiders owner] Al Davis, and he said he wants me there. That means a lot to me," Campbell said. "I'm ready to get to work."As readers of this website know, I've been a consistent defender of Campbell for years and I still believe everything I wrote. He can be a very good quarterback in the NFL if he's given a fair chance on a decent team. Unfortunately, he's not going to a decent team, but hopefully he can help make the Raiders good. I'm sorry it never worked out for him in Washington, but I'm happy he's getting away from a management team that hasn't liked him, hasn't played fair by him and has publicly demeaned and undermined him for years.
