Additional Redskins undrafted free agent additions

Written by Mark Buterbaugh on . Posted in Washington Redskins

We already reported the signing of TE Logan Paulsen.  The Redskins have signed 4 additional undrafted rookie free agents.  They are:

S Anderson Russell (OSU):  Russell played in 13 games for the Ohio State Buckeyes last year and recorded 49 tackles and 3 interceptions.  In 4 seasons with the Buckeyes, Russell grabbed 6 interceptions.

DT Marques Slocum (Eastern Arizona)

LB Jaevery McFadden (WIS):

RB Keiland Williams (LSU):  Williams had 70 carries for 368 yards for LSU last season, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.  Williams spent most of his time at LSU as a  backup running back and never managing to gain more than 500 yards in a season.  He shows decent physical traits for the running back position, but did not get many touches.  His speed, quickness, agility and elusiveness could bring success at the NFL level but will be a bit of a gamble in that he has yet to show it on a consistent basis, being stuck in a backup role.
