Redskins, McNabb working on extension
From the Department of Things That Should Have Been Done By Now, Adam Schefter reports that the Redskins are well into negotiations with Donovan McNabb's agent to get a contract extension done. Trading for McNabb without a contract extension was a big risk since he becomes a free agent after the end of this season. Getting that deal done soon would go some of the way towards alleviating some of the concerns many of us have about the trade.
