Redskins sign draft picks Morris, Cook
The Washington Redskins signed two more of their 2010 draft picks. Fifth round pick TE Dennis Morris and 6th round pick G Erik Cook are both signed.
Morris is expected to come into training camp as a TE/FB and could possibly compete to take the job of FB Mike Sellers. Cook can play both Guard and Center, which that versatility made him an attractive pick.
Still unsigned are 1st round, 4th overall pick OT Trent Williams and 4th round pick LB Perry Riley. Williams is expected to assume the starting role at left tackle, after the retirement of Chris Samuels. Samuels has been serving as an assistant and has been working closely in the OTAs with Williams. Samuels has not his his excitement for Williams. Riley is expected to compete for a roster spot in the Redskins new 3-4 defense.
