Haynesworth feels 'deceived'
A few days after Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder seemingly and justifiably called out DT Albert Haynesworth, Big Al now says he feels 'deceived' by the Redskins.

Haynesworth was signed to a whopping $100 million contract last season. He played in maybe 70% of the games and even in those, how many plays did Albert sit outĀ because he was winded? Big Al was paid over $30 million in the first year of the deal. Haynesworth wants sympathy? Oh please, you get none here.
Sorry Big Al but the Redskins did not get anywhere near a $30 million effort from you. What do you know as well, the horrible 4-12 season ends and what does Haynesworth do but turn focus and attention to himself, complaining about the way he was used.
Bottom line isĀ --- Big Al wants to be seen as the best, most dominant defensive player in the game, yet he lacks the leadership and ability to be a team player to ever acheive that. For the third time, we will call him out. Where's the leadership Albert? Where's the class? You sound like a whining baby.
Fact is, when a team finishes 4-12 philosophies, schemes, and coaches may and should change. Your role as a professional is to adapt. Just like I would have to if my Boss changed. Except I don't get paid $30 million.
PFT is spot on. Big Al could have done himself a world of good by keeping quiet. You feel deceived? Try being a Redskin fan watcing you walk off the field winded in the first quarter. Now that is true deception!
