Cousins To Start Against Cleveland

Written by tomblaz on . Posted in Washington Redskins

The Redskins have decided that rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins will start tomorrow's game in Cleveland.

Cousins earning his first career start in place of Robert Griffin III, who was limited in practice all week with a sprained right knee.

Cousins has never started a game in the NFL, but has appeared in two games this season, throwing a pair of touchdown passes, with two interceptions.

With Cousins named the starter, it is unclear how many quarterbacks the Redskins will keep active tomorrow, and who will be his primary backup. It is possible that the Redskins will have all three active, including Rex Grossman.
