S Brandon Merriweather looked like a possible debut today with the Redskins, however, he is listed as inactive. Second year safety DeJon Gomes looks to draw the start.
WR Pierre Garçon will be inactive again. According to multiple sources, WR Leonard Hankerson will draw the start over Aldrick Robinson. Makes sense. Mike Shanahan has been consistent in starting those that produce. Hankerson caught a deep TD pass last week, while Robinson was inconsistent and dropped a deep pass that should have been caught. It's basically what have you done for me lately.
Rob Jackson will start in place of Brain Orakpo, who was placed on the season ending injured reserve. It will be Jackson's job to lose. I suspect we will also see Chris Wilson a lot, particularly in pass rushing downs. Interestingly, newly signed LB Markus White is among the actives. I suspect we will see White in special teams.
