Adam Carriker out for the season for Redskins

According to numerous report, including from DE Adam Carriker himself, the defensive end will miss the rest of the season.  Carriker suffered a knee injury yesterday and had it iced right away, but did not return to the game.  Not good news for a struggling defense.  With Carriker lost for the season, we should expect a promotion from the practice squad, possibly former Maryland product Doug Worthington.

The Redskins will not turn to Kedric Golston and second year playerJarvis Jenkins to fill the Cariiker void.

The early word on LB Brian Orakpo is that he may likely not play next week against the Bengals.  Additional bad news.
