Redskins injury update
TE Fred Davis, who took a brutal shot to the head in last week's loss to the St. Louis Rams, is cleared to practice and says he'll start on Sunday in the home opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
WR Pierre Garcon, who missed last week's game [and was sorely missed] with an injured foot] is still unsure if he will play on Sunday. The Redskins offense badly needs Garcon in the lineup for his receiving, his hands and his excellent downfield blocking.
Reports indicate CB Josh Wilson, who suffered a concussion last Sunday, has passed his concussion tests and is now cleared to practice and, presumably, play on Sunday. That's great news for Chris' health, of course, but also for the team. Wilson is by far the team's best defensive back and not having him against an opponent with AJ Green at wide receiver would be a huge disadvantage.
