Redskins Injury Report: Week Four

Written by Mark Buterbaugh on . Posted in Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskineofficial injury report is out.  Here is the status of injured Redskins against the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Probable

RB Evan Royster:  Royster injured his knee last week in the loss to the Bengals.  Ryan Grant was signed to the roster, but he replaces Roy Helu, who was place don season ending injured reserve.

S Brandon Merriweather:  Merriweather is finally listed as probabey and very well could make his Washington Redskins debut.  Merriweather has been since pre-season.  His return would bolster a secondary that has struggled through the first three weeks.

Questionable:

OT Trent Williams:  Williams did not practice much of the week and I suspect Redskins fans are going to have to accept the fact they will likeyl see Jordan Black protecting RGIII's blind side this week.

WR Brandon Banks:  Banks has a banged up hit and is listed as questionable.  The return game could turn to second year wide receiver Aldrick Robinsona nd possibly Santana Moss.

WR Pierre Garcon:  Garcon has not played since the first half of the opener.  He was injured after catching an 88 yard TD pass from RGIII.  Garcon has incredible chemisty with RGII, and despite putting up over 30 points each game, he is a big loss to the offense.  I look for Garcon to stay sidelined one more week.

Out:

CB Cedric Griffin: Griffin is listed as out.  Redskins will turn to rookie CB Richard Crawford.
