Redskins lose Brian Orakpo for the season
The Washington Redskins were dealt another serious blow on defense. Not only have they lost DE Adam Carriker for the season, but they have also lost start LB Brian Orakpo. Orakpo left the game yesterday and tried to return a few times. Orakpo suffered a torn left pectoral muscle, the the same muscle that he tore at the end of last season and had surgery on.
DE Doug Worthington will be activated off the practice squad. It appears at the time that DE Jarvis Jenkins, a second round draft pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, will likely takee over as starter for Carriker. LB Rob Jackson will take over for Orakpo.
