FIRST QUARTER:  Redskins 0 Falcons 0

After a lengthy opening drive, the Redskins hold and force Atlanta to punt.  Redskins have an impressive opening drive led by RB Alfred Morris who carried twice for 27 yards. Redskins were forced to punt.  Redskins defense forces a three and out.  Falcons defense returns the favor and forces a Redskins three and out.  Redskins put up another strong defensive performance to force another Falcons punt.

SECOND QUARTER: Redskins 7 Falcons 7

Redskins will punt after getting some more yardage from Morris. Perhaps the Redskins should consider running more to open the pass.  Ryan Kerrigan picked off Matt Ryan by a tipped ball and took it for six.  Reminiscent of his rookie year.  Redskins get the football back on a fumble by Matt Ryan.  Again, the Redskins put an impressive drive on the back of Morris, in both the run and pass game.  Billy Cundiff misses an easy 31 yard field goal. Missing Graham Gano?  Falcons convert the missed field goal to an impressive offensive series that led to a Falcons TD pass to Tony Gonzales.

End of first half.
